Forensic expertise has revealed that the death of Albanian businessman Jani (Gentian) Topalli was caused by strangulation with a rope.
According to the medical-legal expertise, the Albanian who lived in Rhodes, Greece, died as a result of blows to the head, unlike what appeared at the beginning that he was strangled with a rope. The examination of the victim's body revealed two blows to the head which caused his death.
Accused for the tragic death of the contractor are the 53-year-old businessman from Rhodes and his 20-year-old son, while the causes are known to be financial and specifically, an amount of several thousand euros, which the 53-year-old allegedly owes him for the work that the Albanian had done in his business in 2019.
However, father and son, at least in the preliminary investigations, declare that it was an accident because, as they said, there was an incident with the 46-year-old Albanian, who in a drunken state allegedly attacked the 20-year-old.
However, it is also worth mentioning the fact that a period of about ten days has passed since the event and the decay in the contractor's body may have changed or "disappeared" and other elements that may have been there.
