Journalist Anduena Llabani says that the wanted man, Ervis Martinaj, left in a police car after the incident that took place in the area of the former Block in 2018 in the capital, where Ervin Mata, Marviol Bilo, Elion Hado and Ervis Martinaj were involved and where he was killed Fabiol Gaxha.
In the show "Now" on "Euronews Albania", Llabani said that Martinaj gave loans to construction businessmen in Tirana and Vlora
"Do you know that in the event of the block, Ervis Martinaj left in a police car? Ervis Martinaj didn't just play games of chance, he made millions before giving loans, he gave them to businessmen involved in construction in Tirana. Gladis Nano had this information. It cannot be done alone by one man, whatever spirit he may have. There is also information that senior police officers received money for all the drugs entering and leaving the Port of Durrës", she emphasized.
On the evening of October 4, 2018, Fabiol Gaxha was killed, while Ervis Martinaj and Elion Hato were injured during a gunfight in a bar in the former Block.
The Tirana court found Ervis Martinaj guilty and sentenced him to 5.6 years in prison. But due to the abbreviated trial, he benefited from the reduction of 1/3 of the sentence, being finally sentenced by the First Degree to 3.8 years in prison.
Former commander Meviol Billo, who is still on the run, has been accused of murdering Gaxha.
