Queues at customs, Proda demands the avoidance of artificial obstacles by Border

The Director General of the State Police, Ilir Proda, has requested from Kakavija and all Border Police services maximum commitment to eliminate any artificial obstacles, creating legal facilities for citizens who use border crossing points.

"I am pleased to say that of the Border Police structures throughout Albania, I am very satisfied, undoubtedly also with your structure here in Kakavije, where I cannot fail to mention the excellent cooperation with FRONTEX.

These are moments when our citizens return to celebrate the new year in their homes. These are holidays and more commitment is required for all Border Police services. Everyone on duty; I do not want any artificial obstacles to come from our structures. Maximum appreciation, whatever we can do to facilitate your movement. Cooperate with your counterparts, so that the movement is uniform on both sides of the border. Once again, I wish you happy holidays to all employees and their families, citizens, all compatriots who come to celebrate the new year and, without a doubt, also to journalists who contribute to the transmission of our work and messages to citizens! "said Proda.

Meanwhile, during the conversation with the Director of the Ioannina Border Police, Diamantis Dimitrios, Director Proda asked that the crossing point on the Greek side be operated with the same number of counters, enabling uniform movement and eliminating queues at entry or exit.
