The Tirana Court has imposed the security measure "compulsory appearance" on Rei Bitri , the 21-year-old who caused an accident with a police officer in the early hours of Thursday morning.

During the hearing, the 21-year-old claimed that the police officer suddenly appeared in front of him and that he had not seen him.

Meanwhile, the Tirana prosecutor's office is awaiting the results of the examination from the hospital where the officer is being treated.

It was also claimed in the courtroom that the officer had minor injuries and was out of danger to his life.

The prosecution has also received the testimonies of two other officers who were on duty on "Xhanfize Keko" street at the time the collision occurred.

Rei Bitri was traveling in his private vehicle when the officer ordered him to open his arm, at which point the 21-year-old caused an accident, injuring the policeman's leg.
