The moment when Bashkim Domi burns down the house

Bashkim Domi , a 54-year-old man from Kamza, has been arrested by the Police after raping his wife and setting fire to the house where they lived with their children with gasoline.

In the footage, the moment is seen when Domi burns down the house with the gasoline he had under his jacket.

Under the influence of alcohol, the 54-year-old threatened to burn his children and wife with gasoline, who were inside the apartment at the moment he set it on fire.

Tch has also provided footage of one of the girls being touched by the flames.

Part of the apartment and furniture were burned by the flames. His wife tells of the horror she experienced with her children.

"I didn't know he had gasoline, he had put it in his sweatshirt. He sprayed the house with gasoline, I called the children to come outside. When he came outside, he threw gasoline at my daughter's feet. The boy and I don't know how we stopped him," she says.

His wife, who has been granted a protection order by the court, says that for years she has suffered from the violence her husband inflicted on her and the children.

"He has always been violent since I got married. Psychologically and physically, in 2017 he burned me with a pot of beans. I reported him for leaving me for dead."

The 54-year-old was arrested after the incident, while investigations are continuing under the direction of the prosecution.
