Hundreds of cars have been stranded or encountered difficulty in circulation on two important axes of the country.

In Prrenjas - Neck Said, passage has become almost impossible due to intense snowfall. Police in the area are stopping cars that don't have winter tyres, asking them to put on chains.

Taking advantage of this situation, ambulance vendors are selling chains up to 100 thousand leks, or three times more expensive than they normally cost.

For several hours, the circulation was also blocked on the Skuraj-Burrel axis, where dozens of cars were left stranded in the snow.

Drivers have called on the contractor firm to step in for the roadside cleanup.

There are also many cars without chains.
