The perpetrator of the gunshot wound today is identified near a mosque in the Area of Bami's Tomb in Tirana.

He is Saimir Xhafa, born in 1988, and tirana police have set a reward of 5,000 euros for anyone who gives information that could lead to his capture.

The 58-year-old man was shot in the fire, for reasons not yet known. The injured man is in the hospital out of danger of life.

Police announcement:

Regarding the event that happened shortly before, near the "Xhura" mosque, police services after conducting the first investigative actions, made possible the identification and the proclamation in search of the suspected perpetrator of the event, citizen Saimir Xhafa, on the birthday of 04.01.1988, resident in Tirana.

DVP Tirana invites citizens to provide information about the perpetrator of this event and sets a reward of 5000 Euros for any valuable information that will lead to the capture of the perpetrator.

The Local Police Directorate of Tirana puts at the disposal of citizens, the telephone number 0694111546, guaranteeing the complete anonymity of each caller.
