Police operation in Shkodra, 25-year-old arrested, convicted of drug and weapons

The Serious Crimes Investigation Sector, in cooperation with the services of the Shkodra Police Commissariat, the Eagle Special Forces at the Shkodra Police Department and with the support of the National Security Force, the Shkodra Unit, based on information provided on the location of a wanted citizen, have organized and finalized the police operation codenamed "Livadhet". During the operation, the following citizen was arrested and handcuffed:

– SC, 25 years old, and citizen BB, 39 years old, both residents of Shkodra, were declared wanted.

This citizen was declared wanted, after the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Shkodra assigned him the security measure "Arrest in prison", for the criminal offenses of "Theft", committed in collaboration, "Unlicensed possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition" and "Production and sale of narcotics".

On 29.04.2025, during a search conducted in the place called Livadhet e Kirasit, in the "Guerile" neighborhood, 1 automatic firearm, combat ammunition, a quantity of suspected cannabis narcotic substance, as well as a "Toyota Hilux" type vehicle, without license plates, which was found hidden and covered at a distance of about 100 m away, where after verification it turned out that it had been stolen in the city of Durrës.

Intensive work continues to capture citizen BB and to fully document this criminal activity of these two citizens.

The procedural materials were referred to the Shkodra Prosecutor's Office for further action.
