The Tirana court has set the security measure "prison arrest" for 46-year-old Edmond Arapi, while it has imposed "house arrest" for 16-year-old Arnold Vatocin.
The latter, by order of Edmond Arapi, placed the tritol at the fashion store of businessman Roberto del Gaido in the area of Fresco, after he refused to give him 100,000 euros.
Edmond Arapi had imposed a fine of 100 thousand euros on the Italian Roberto del Gaido and threatened several times that if he did not pay, he would be in danger, but the Italian himself had refused.
Sources indicate that before the black squads, the 46-year-old denied the accusations and involvement in the event.
"I have never known or met the Italian businessman. I have no conflict with him. I have been working for some time in a quarry in Himare. I stay part of the time there to provide income for the family. I don't even know the guy (Arnold Vatocin) nor have I ever met him. I am not involved in this event", said Edmond Arapi.
Meanwhile, the minor has refused to speak and give evidence, leaving his defense to his lawyer. While at the Police, he confirmed that he told Edmond Arapi to put tritol in the fashion business, in exchange for 100 thousand old lek.
After the explosion in the Italian tailor's shop, Edmond Arapi hid in Himare where he was arrested, while the Italian tailor has also left for Italy.
It is learned that a month ago, 16-year-old Arnold Matoci was arrested by Police Station no. 5 in Kamez as the perpetrator of placing another amount of tritol in a flat in Allias and the court at that time released him more leniently because of his age. He is known as a problematic person for the Kamza area.
