The Albanian authorities have started to prepare the necessary documentation for the extradition procedures of Behar Bajri from France to Albania.

He is expected to appear immediately before a French court pending the request from Albania.

Behar Bajri, also known by the last name Brajovic, was arrested in Paris on Monday and it is learned that he was hiding there since the arrest warrant was issued.

The 43-year-old is accused by the Special Prosecutor's Office of being an organizer in the murder of citizen Gjin Boriçi in Shkodër. Also in the wounding of the citizen Taulant Pepaj, and in the preparation of assassination plans that were not realized in 3 cases.

The events were revealed by the encrypted communications on the Sky network, brought to Albania by the French authorities, where Behar Bajri results in dozens of communications with the businessman Pëllumb Gjoka and several others, as they talk about the criminal events.

Interpol Tirana, in cooperation with law enforcement agencies and Interpol Paris, continue the work to complete the documentation, with the aim of extraditing the 43-year-old to our country.

"The capture of this citizen once again showed the serious, professional and reliable cooperation between the State Police and partners, as well as the determination of the State Police to track, locate, capture and bring to justice the citizen announced as a national wanted and international", declared the State Police.
