Fier continues to be a hotbed of cases of covid 19. According to the Director of the Local Health Care Unit in Fier, Arber Arapi, several citizens are currently hospitalized with covid and are receiving medical help out of danger to their lives, as he emphasized that the most affected are the emigrants who have returned to their homeland.

According to him, only for the month of August, 113 cases of covid have been confirmed in Fier, Patos and Roskovec, while the situation continues with a slight decrease for the month of September, where currently 98 cases have been positive, while the center with the largest number of cases remains the city of Fier, followed by Roskovec and Patosi.

The head of the Local Health Care Unit in Fier has also affirmed that the symptoms of this virus are lighter than those of the pandemic period, but should not be neglected by citizens. Arabi has also informed that more than 50 tests are carried out every day, while even the white shirts appeal for increased caution from this virus as well as for vaccination.

Meanwhile, during the pandemic, Fieri was in the red zone of the Ministry of Health due to the many cases of people affected by covid 19, ranking it among the three most infected counties in the country.
