Three foreign tourists who were sailing with the boat "Kayak" in Dhërmi were in serious danger to their lives. Strong currents and sea waves made it impossible for them to return to shore. Fortunately, the Dhërmi Border Police in cooperation with two citizens came to the rescue.

The three Czech tourists, their two husbands and their daughter, are in good health.

"The Border Police in Dhërmi, in cooperation with 2 citizens with private boats, came to the aid of 3 foreign tourists whose lives were in danger, as a result of the sea waves.

The Border Police in Dhërmi, after receiving the notification from the Operative Room in DVP Vlora, that in Palasa, Dhërmi, three foreign tourists who were sailing in the sea with 1 boat "Kayak" were in danger and it was impossible for them to return. on the shore, due to strong currents and sea waves, the search was immediately started.

After 1 hour of searching, thanks to the cooperation of border police officers with 2 private watercraft, 1 jetski and 1 raft, it was possible to find the "Kayak" watercraft and safely rescue the people.

The three foreign Czech tourists (two husbands and their daughter) have no problems and are in good health.

The Police of Vlora is maximally engaged in the service of citizens, visitors and tourists by creating a safer environment and in this context invites citizens to report any cases of illegality to 112 and to the Digital Police Station.
