The Tirana police have given the details of today's operation on the corruption of officials at the Tufina cemetery, but also on the reconstruction permits after the earthquake, the provision of a fake Covid-19 certificate or the granting of soft loans.

Official sources inform that 8 people have been arrested, two of their associates have been charged and two others have been criminally prosecuted.

More specifically, the citizens were put in handcuffs 

- Eljodor Ndini, 32 years old, acting Director of the Funeral Services Agency of the Municipality of Tirana, for the criminal offenses "Passive corruption of employees exercising public functions", "Exercising illegal influence over persons exercising public functions" and "Abuse of duty";

- Xhemal Mena , 61 years old, on duty as an employee of the Tufin Cemetery Sector, in the Funeral Services Agency of the Municipality of Tirana, for the criminal offense of "Abuse of duty";

- Latif Shehu , 63 years old, on duty as an employee of the Tufin Cemetery Sector, in the Funeral Services Agency of the Municipality of Tirana, for the criminal offense of "Abuse of duty";

- Gazmend Daja, 49 years old, on duty as an employee of the Tufin Cemetery Sector, in the Funeral Services Agency of the Municipality of Tirana, for the criminal offense "Passive corruption of persons exercising public functions";

- Bujar Lica , 66 years old, for the criminal offense "Exercising illegal influence on persons exercising public functions";

- Alban Ajazi , 28 years old, for the criminal offenses "Exercising illegal influence on persons exercising public functions and "Passive corruption of employees exercising public functions";

- Endrin Milla , 37 years old, for "Exercising illegal influence on persons exercising public functions" and "Active corruption of employees exercising public functions";

- Fatjon Gjonaj , 24 years old, for the criminal offense "Illegal construction".

Also, citizens Roza Ndoj , 44 years old, and Julian Çuka , 31 years old, have been criminally prosecuted for the criminal offense "Abuse of duty". Meanwhile, citizens Shaqir Nika and Fabion Gjonaj have been declared wanted.

Sipas bluve të Tiranës, nga hetimet dyshohet se këta shtetas, në bashkëpunim me njëri-tjetrin, kundrejt shpërblimit nga 30.000 deri 50.000 lekë të rinj, duke shpërdoruar detyrën, kanë siguruar vendvarrime për shtetas të ndryshëm, në varrezat e Tufinës.

Gjithashtu, nga këqyrja e aparateve celulare të këtyre shtetasve dyshohet se nëpërmjet ushtrimit të ndikimit të paligjshëm ndaj funksionarëve të sektorëve të tjerë, mundësonin nxjerrjen e lejeve të ndërtimit dhe rindërtimit, nga institucionet përgjegjëse, për banesat e dëmtuara nga tërmeti, kundrejt pagesës 200.000 lekë të rinj; nxjerrjen e certifikatave të pronësisë pranë ASHK-së; përfitimin e certifikatave të vaksinimit kundër Covid-19, kundrejt pagesës 30.000 lekë të rinj, si dhe përfitimin e kredisë të butë pranë bashkisë Tiranë.
