After the government meeting, Interior Minister Ervin Hoxha emphasized that the remuneration of police officers will be improved within the framework of the new police law, which will be approved in August 2024.

This law will regulate the activity, organization and remuneration of State Police employees, bringing innovation and a continuous process to the police force.

According to Hoxha, all organizational and reward activities will be unified and the government will clearly define its will to support and motivate the police, making this issue a priority.

' Reward for police officers, in August 2024 the new police law approved all the activities, regulation, organization and reward of state police officers. We are in a new and continuous award for the police. All the activity of organizing and giving these rewards will be unified. The government expressly defines the will for the government's mission. The role of the police is a very key role and motivation will be a priority of the Albanian government ,' said the minister.
