The investigations into the murder of Klaudio Prendi , which occurred on "Xhanfize Keko" street in Tirana, are advancing with the accompaniment of new persons for questioning.

Police sources suggest that among them may be the perpetrators or possible masterminds of the crime, suspected of being linked to a contract killing.

The incident occurred shortly after midnight on November 18, 2024, when Prendi was shot with a silenced firearm as he had just gotten into his vehicle near Xhamlliku.

Earlier, he had been at a bar with friends, including several police officers. The main line of investigation remains a conflict over debts from sports lotteries.

According to investigators, Prendi had had two violent clashes with another group within the year, one of which occurred about a month before the murder.

The perpetrators used a vehicle with Greek license plates, which turned out to be stolen in Greece. Albanian authorities have requested information from their Greek counterparts, but have not yet received a response.

While investigations continue, the police remain focused on identifying those responsible and fully elucidating the circumstances of this serious event, which has shocked public opinion.
