With a gun in his belt in Pogradec/ The 22-year-old, known to the authorities,

A 21-year-old man was handcuffed by the Pogradec police after he was caught with an illegal weapon yesterday evening.

It is about Enes Shahon, who, the moment he saw the policemen, threw the pistol he had with him into the river. The young man was previously convicted of threats and possession of weapons without a permit.

The policemen arrested the young man at the place called "Ura e Tushemishti" in Pogradec. Enes Shaho was a passenger and as soon as he noticed the policemen who signaled him to stop, he threw his gun in the direction of the river. Police say he had the gun in his waistband.

The Police Services have found in the river, the pistol firearm with 6 bullets in the magazine, which was seized as material evidence, together with an iron stick, a knife and a mobile phone that were found in the bag of the 21-year-old. 

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of Korçë General Jurisdiction, for further actions.
