Safet Gjici has closed the official account on the Facebook social network. After the "river" of comments and reactions to the video scandal, the former mayor of Kukës has already been forced to close the profile he had on the social network.

If you search for his name on Facebook, more precisely "Safet Gjici Official Page", only articles and posts related to his name appear, but not the official account of the former socialist mayor of Kukes.

At noon yesterday, June 16, 2023, a video-scandal appeared in the media showing Safet Gjici performing intimate relations in the office, in the Municipality of Kukës. Through a note on his Facebook account, he announced his resignation and spoke of being entrapped by opponents.

Meanwhile, a few hours later, the decisions of the Council of Ministers were made public, one of which was related to Safet Gjicin. The government said that the decision to remove the president from his position was taken immediately after the video began to be shared publicly.
