Unstable weather conditions across the country

The Military Meteorological Service announced that today our country will be affected by unstable weather conditions.

The weather is forecast to be cloudy with occasional clear spells, mainly along the Western Lowlands in the afternoon hours.

From the first hours, the presence of occasional rainfall of medium intensity is predicted in the form of short-term storms accompanied by electrical discharges (in the districts of Shkodër, Lezhë, Dibër, Tirana, Durrës, Elbasan, Gjirokastër), while the rest of the territory will experience low intensity.

During the day, occasional rain of moderate intensity is expected in the north and partially in the center, with a temporary cessation of precipitation around noon.

In the evening hours, reactivation of occasional rainfall with medium and occasionally locally high intensity is expected, accompanied by electrical discharges, mainly in the northwestern area and partially in the center.

The wind will blow from the south at an average speed of 8 m/s, while along the coastline and valley areas the wind will blow at speeds of up to 18 m/s accompanied by waves in seas of force 3-4.
