Drugs were seized in the seaport of Durrës.

The Task Force unit with a stationary stay of almost 2 years in the seaport of Durrës has seized a quantity of cocaine.

The drugs were found in the barn of the Antigua Barbuda-flagged ship Unistream.

The ship anchored on May 16 in the eastern quay of the seaport of Durres. It has transported coal to the port of Durrës.

At dawn, the task force unit was found on board the ship, which was alerted by international partners about the existence of drugs in the ship's barns.

The control showed that a quantity of packaged drugs was found in the barns of the ship.

Work is ongoing and the drugs have not yet been weighed.
