The scandal with the elevators in QSUT, the administrator of "Sulollari
Elevator safety has recently become a problem in Albania for some people due to serious defects

The State Police has prosecuted the citizens Ardian Sulollari, 52 years old and Ermal Braja 45 years old, after yesterday's event where the elevator of QSUT was broken and as a result they remained trapped on the first floor and an 80 year old patient was injured as even the employee who was handling the patient's stretcher.

Braja is an elevator technician, while Sulollari is the administrator of "Sulollari Klima" which is a specialized company for air conditioners, but a while ago won the tender worth 24 million ALL with VAT for the maintenance of elevators at QSUT. The company "Sulollari Klima" seems to have felt capable of maintaining elevators leading to a serious accident last night.

Police have questioned the shift nurses, who have stated that the elevator had problems before, but had not faced such a situation. They told police that the elevator often got stuck between floors or did not work often.

Sulollari and Braja are charged with the criminal offense "Violation of the rules of protection at work". The materials were forwarded to the Prosecutor's Office for further procedural actions.
