KAOS at UT, only 27 students enrolled in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry
Natural Sciences

Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry are some of the branches that risk being closed at the University of Tirana.

The figures so far show that this year only 27 students have chosen to study in these three branches at the Faculty of Natural Sciences, this alarming figure since earlier we had an influx of students in these branches. This university, despite remaining the most preferred, has again been affected by the shrinking of vacancies for applications.

So far, only 14 students have been registered in Mathematics, 7 students in Physics, and only 6 students in Chemistry, while it is worth noting that last year there were 100 quotas in the branch of Chemistry.

Earlier it was announced that out of about 30 thousand high school graduates, 1/3 of them have applied for higher studies abroad, or have chosen not to continue at the University.
