This is the 28-year-old Albanian who for two years in a row used barbaric violence against his wife and tried to kill her several times.

Aurel Kurti, from Klosi, started the violence against the 22-year-old when the gender of their child became known because he did not want a girl! The torture against his wife was discovered on Thursday evening (September 21) when the neighbors saved the girl from his hands. after he was trying to suffocate her inside the apartment where they lived.

Aurel Kurti had grabbed her by the neck with his hands, but it was the screams of the 22-year-old woman that mobilized the residents who went to the apartment, hitting the doors with force to save her. At that moment, the Albanian tried to escape through the outer door but was caught by the neighbors, who then handed him over to the police.

When the officers entered, they found the Albanian woman bleeding with her 2 and a half year old daughter in her arms, hugging her.

The couple married in Albania when the girl was only 18 years old, in a marriage forced by her family.

About a year and a half later they became parents of a daughter. Two years ago, in 2021, the 28-year-old moved with his wife and baby to Greece, in an area near Volos, where Aurel Kurti works as a builder.

The violence against the young woman lasted for two years and the husband kept the 22-year-old and the child locked up and completely isolated at home, while the child had never been to the doctor.

In the two years of isolation, in the last five months she did not even see the light of day, as she was not even allowed to go out into the backyard.

All this time he kept her captive. In addition to the terrible torture the woman experienced in a house that had turned into a prison, her husband had cut off all social interaction and blackmailed her every day.

He threatened to go to Albania himself to kill her parents if she told her family what she was going through or tried to leave.
