A sister seeks justice for her brother's death.

27-year-old Endrit Ndrecaj from Lezha tragically lost his life in a car accident and the passenger traveling in this vehicle, Amarildo Pjetri, was seriously injured .

The relatives of the deceased have requested the help of legal institutions to bring justice for the loss of their relative.

The sister of the unfortunate young man, through tears and her voice trembling with pain, told News24 moderator Evis Ahmeti that the author did not go to prison because of his acquaintances, as it was said that he was the grandson of the former Prime Minister of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj.

" My brother ran away on a motorcycle, because he called a friend on the phone to pick him up. The brother was making some arrangements at home, that he was arranging a room, to get married and start a family. He was in a relationship with a girl for 1 year, he was going to start a family. A boy from Kosovo made a maneuver on the opposite side, bumped him. They told us; He was the grandson of Ramushi. It was done to us as psychological pressure. We are a poor family, without support. We have difficult economic conditions. And they despised this thing, I believe. The person who had an accident with his brother had rented a car here in Albania. We found out from the court proceedings. At first, my brother dealt with this matter. Then I took over. We did not have a good relationship with my brother, before and after the accident. He apparently wanted to get something, took advantage of his brother's accident. My father was shocked and confided this to me. The culprit was put under house arrest, since the start of COVID, if I'm not mistaken. No one wants to have an accident, but the way he behaved was not correct. He escaped punishment because he was the grandson of a politician. But whoever it may be, must take his own punishment. They should have come to us in a human way ," she said .
