SPAK appeals in the Special Appeal the sentence of 2 years in prison of the former mayor of Lezha, Fran Frrokaj from the First Degree for abuse of office, requesting his sentence of 4 years of imprisonment.

Frrokaj was sentenced by the Special Court to 2 years in prison, but he served 1 year and 4 months due to the shortened trial. 

Among other things, Frrokaj has been sentenced not to exercise public functions for 5 years. Together with him, 5 other former officials have been sentenced and also the court decided to confiscate over 66 thousand m2 of land in 'Rana e Hedhun'.

It is about the alienation of 234,548 m2 of Rana state land in the area of ​​Rana e 'Hedhun', which was alienated with forged documents.

In relation to this case, according to the prosecution, the court decided to destroy the practices for this property and return it to its previous state, i.e. on state land, but the Cadastre did not implement the decision of the Court of Lezha, so the investigations started. , bringing the suspension of 11 employees.
