The court of Lezha has sentenced Llej Liken to 27 years in prison for the murder of businessman Rakip Roli, an event that occurred in December 2021 in the village of Sanxhak in Kurbin. After a long court process, the young man was found guilty of the criminal offenses of premeditated murder and possession of weapons without a permit. As an accomplice in this crime, Klaudio Gjegji (Beleshi) was also sentenced to 20 years in prison.

The latter was initially prosecuted for not reporting the crime, but referring to the file investigated by prosecutor Frančesk Ganaj, the prosecution managed to prove that the murder of businessman Rakip Roli was carried out by Llej Lika in collaboration with his friend Klaudio Gjegji (Beleshi).

From the moment of his arrest two days after the event, Lika has declared to the investigators that he acted alone in killing the businessman as a sign of revenge, since he and his two sons had raped him a few days before the event.

But the investigations showed that the crime was committed in collaboration with Klaudio Gjegji (Beleshi) and the jury headed by the judge of Lezha Ilir Përdeda gave the maximum punishment to the two young men.

The 55-year-old businessman Rakip Roli, otherwise known as Pilot Rroli, was executed with a volley of automatic bullets on the morning of December 10, 2021. He was shot while driving his luxury Audi Q7 vehicle, as he had just left his apartment in the village of Sanxhak in Kurbin. 7 bullets hit him in the body, causing his immediate death, while the police managed to identify and handcuff the perpetrators in a quick time.
