Details have been revealed from the criminal file of the Elbasan prosecutor's office, which led to the arrest of two senior police chiefs, Nikollaq Palla and Albert Nushi, as well as the suspension from duty of 6 other Elbasan police officers.

The investigative file states that 8 police officers lied about their whereabouts at noon on April 21, 2021, where Pjerin Xhuvani was killed, and 4 other people were injured.

The film footage has revealed police officers and the attitudes they have held in the prosecution.

Nushi and Nikollaq Palla have indicated that at the time of the incident they were a group of people, of about 100 people and could not see and understand anything of what was happening, after the chaos was created.

In sync of the testimony of the two former deputy directors of the Elbasan District, there were also 6 employees of the "Eagle" patrol, who showed that they had not seen anything due to the chaos created among the crowd.

Even in their testimony, the police officers, the commander of the group Dedjon Duraku and the two deputy directors of the district, lie about their position on the ground.

During the interrogation, the police officers indicated that they did not intervene, as there were no clashes between the persons who were on the street.

But only immediate gunshots, which did not understand which side they were coming from.

Asked why they did not intervene and act to apprehend the perpetrators who used the weapons on April 21, police officers were acquitted, stating that they had taken measures to provide assistance to the injured persons.

But a video seized by the Elbasan prosecutor's office has revealed the statements given to the police prosecutor's office and the actions they committed on the day of the event.

Police did not dominate the territory where the conflict was taking place and made no attempt to neutralize and escort the persons involved in the event.

The effectives, says the prosecution, remain indifferent and do not fulfill their duty, leading to the escalation of the conflict, to the use of weapons.

The blue uniforms did not neutralize Mehmet Greca and other persons, as the whole event was dominated by the group of Greca's friends and the group of the Democratic Party Vote Defense Structure.

In the video, the "Eagle" patrol group turns out to have noticed the physical conflict that was taking place on the street between several people, members of the Vote Protection Structure and militants of the Socialist Party, including Pjerin Xhuvani.

The footage clearly shows that none of the police officers intervened to avoid the collision.

The only one who intervened and got into the middle of the quarrel, was the policeman Xhensila Sota, who was injured in the leg by the gunshot wound of Arbër Paplekaj.

Sota appears in the video moving away, as he jumps with one foot after the bullet had hit his other foot.

Her colleagues run away and hide behind the police van.

While Klemend Xhaferi or "Kel Çami", from the footage it results that he did not have any weapon in his hands and did not commit criminal acts against anyone the person who was on the street.

The deputy director of the Elbasan District, Albert Nushi, is completely non-existent, because while he was facing the persons who were physically conflicted, he quietly got out of the white "Range-Rover" car, where he also holds a police radio.

And as soon as he hears the gunshots, he turns his back on himself and hides behind the open door of the car from which he had descended.

The same actions were carried out by the Deputy Director of the District, Nikollaq Palla, who hid and did not make any move to catch the people who used weapons and led to the murder of Pjerin Xhuvani, and the wounding of 4 other people.
