A young bride insisted on rescuing her husband who had planted drugs by blaming the mother-in-law, an elderly woman. According to the bride's deposition, the husband was not guilty, he was not even in Albania at all and the mother-in-law was guilty of the hashish plot. But the latter, for her part, has denied everything, saying that she had bought the seed in the market for peppers and tomatoes.

According to reliable sources close to the Lezha police, the cannabis parcel was found in the area of Fushë Milot, within the siege of the apartment of the citizen EH. A total of 320 plants suspected as cannabis sativa were counted. The police said that in these conditions the roots were destroyed and only five suspected narcotic plant roots were withdrawn for further examinations ". Following the interrogation of the main suspect, a 45-year-old with higher education, the police say that not only his version but also that of his relatives was enough.

The 45-year-old EH insists that he was not in Albania, at the time when the drugs are thought to have been planted, and for this he suggested to the police to inspect the TIMS system, which then confirmed that from April 1 to May 1 (the date between which he claims that the drug was cultivated) was not found within the country.

However police say the age of hashish is actually a few weeks before he left the country. So the seeds were cultivated earlier than April 1 as the height of hashish was 0.5 to 0.8 meters. But the strangest version was given by his wife.

"My mother-in-law must have done it, as she suffers from memory loss and depression. I remember that on April 10, my mother-in-law left to buy sage in the Milot Market and how and where she bought them, I have no idea that I moved to mine for a week. When I returned, my mother-in-law said to me anxiously: "Bride, the plants, as they are, do not look the same to me as in previous years." "Then both of us, together with my mother-in-law, tried to find the traders who had sold her 'sage seed', but we could not find her," said the bride.

The police also interrogated the elderly woman, ie EH's mother “I am 78 years old and I planted the plants near April. I remember buying them as sage seeds from a trader from Shkodra. I was at the Milot Market for this. Then I went to the same trader and asked for peppers and tomatoes seeds to plant in the nursery. He even told me: "Take these seeds because you will see the grace", says the old woman in the police file.

She insists she planted them for tomatoes and peppers in her backyard and that neither the bride nor her son were involved or helping her with the farm work. It is reported that these statements are contradictory between the two women. Police say the bride mentions that her mother-in-law planted sage, while the elderly woman insists she planted peppers and tomatoes. "We will wait for the irrefutable act of the criminal police - said a police source - to confirm, as we think, scientifically that the drug was planted by the owner of the house before he traveled abroad." / GazetaSi
