The next witness to appear today in the trial against Plaurent Dervishaj and Julian Meçaj was Stiven Ziu.

The latter served as the driver of Aleksandër Laho, alias "Rrumi Shijakut" , on the day the latter was shot on November 1, 2019.

Steven Ziu , during questioning in court by prosecutor Adnan Djoli, stated the following:

"I live in Sukth, Durrës, and in 2019 I worked at the Waterworks and occasionally accompanied Aleksandër Laho as a driver. I met Laho in 2018 and I had company with him because I have my own house in Sukth...". On November 1, 2019, I was in Agron Dodollit's black Benz car and we met Aleksandër Laho. We had coffee in Sukth and drove in this car, going to Durrës and then we had coffee on the beach, in the Coral area. We went to this area after Laho told me that we would meet Arjan. When we went there to Coral, we did not see other people, but I noticed that Andi Maloku and Arjan Ndoji came, where they met Laho. Laho and Arjan stayed in the bar for about two hours, the two drivers, me and Andi Maloku, stayed in another cafe nearby. They got out and got into Arjan's car, I was following them in the other car from behind and we headed towards Sukth. When we entered the highway, then a gray Benz overtook my car that was behind Arjan's car and then I saw that guns were taken out of the windows and shots were fired. I saw the guns and bullets. I saw the police car that had left the road and then I stayed to give first aid to the wounded. I remember that the deceased, Andi Maloku, was in the front seat behind the wheel, Arjan Ndoja was the front passenger, Aleksandër Laho was in the back seat. After the incident, we met with Laho, but he did not tell me anything about the suspected perpetrators or who could have hit them, only what I saw on television. I have never had or used an encrypted phone. When I accompanied Rrumi as a driver, he never spoke to me about Julian Mecaj and Plaurent Dervishaj. "Today I have no relationship with Aleksandër Laho and I know nothing about his whereabouts."

Lawyer Ilia Ilia:  "Were you in Vlora when Judge Skerdilajd Konomi was killed in the "Pus Mezini" area?"

Witness:  No, I haven't been to Vlora.

Lawyer Ilia Ilia:  Has Aleksandër Laho ever spoken to you about property conflicts in Hamallaj and land problems?

Witness:  No, he never spoke to me.

Lawyer Ilia Ilia:  Can you determine the direction of the shooting and who was the target of the assassination because you said you saw the bullets?

Witness:  No, I'm not able to determine. No, I don't know, because I don't know where the car was most damaged. I was a witness to the incident and I provided first aid.

Dervishaj:  Why did you leave Laho today? What is the reason that you no longer go, not to see your brother, father, wife, children?

Witness:  I went to the house because I know everyone, but I have no contact with Aleksandër Laho.

Lawyer Ilia Ilia:  Do you know Bashkim and Arben Haxhina?

Witness:  No, I don't know them at all.
