The High Inspector of Justice has not launched a disciplinary investigation against Shkodra prosecutor Elsa Gjeli, who was accused by the government of not launching an investigation into an unauthorized construction in the Theth area.
Through a letter, the ILD informed Minister Manja that it has archived his request for a disciplinary investigation because after preliminary verifications it has not found any elements to do so.
Senior Justice Inspector Metani says that no legal or factual elements have been found to create reasonable suspicion to launch an investigation against Gjeli.

Prosecutor Elsa Gjeli was sharply criticized by Prime Minister Edi Rama on July 7, regarding a decision not to open a criminal case for illegal construction, which was the trigger for a demolition operation in Theth. Rama referred to a series of cabins built near the village church in Theth as a 'tourist village' linked to a criminal.
