Due to the cyber attack on the e-Albania platform, online consular services have also been suspended until further notice.

The Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs announces that "the cyber attack has damaged the online system, which enables the access of citizens and structures responsible for the application and provision of biometric documents for all Albanian consulates in the world".

MEPJ states that "it is in constant contact with the National Agency of the Information Society, which is working to resolve the unusual situation as soon as possible and calls on citizens to understand the temporary state of non-access to public services".
