The media published the photo of Diklen Vata, the 30-year-old who lost his life in the afternoon attack, at the Fushë-Kruja overpass.

After the assassins fired a barrage of bullets into the car in which Vata was with Brilant Martinaj and Besmir Hoxha, the 30-year-old managed to get out alive, but died on the asphalt.

This is because the suspected perpetrators, who were 4, just saw him getting out of the car, turned around and shot him, leaving him dead.

Diklen Vataj played the role of the 22-year-old's bodyguard, who is suspected of killing two former police officers, Xjulio Prela and Xelal Reçi.

The vehicle in which three people were traveling was shot with about 60 bullets while moving on the Fushë Kruja overpass, where as a result it caught fire.

The car of the perpetrators, who are suspected to be four people, was found shortly after the assassination in the village of Larushke. An automatic firearm suspected to have been used in the crime was also found inside the vehicle. Meanwhile, weapons were also discovered in the burnt-out car of the victims.
