The owner of the service in Germany, where the license plate "RE HX 112", used on the vehicle "BMW X5" of the perpetrators of the assassination of Don Bosco on March 12, was stolen, is the Albanian from Kosovo, Gazmend Jakupi.

The license plate was stolen by 28-year-old Nikoll Sherrniku, from Fushë Kuqe e Kurbini, known as a member of Ervis Martinaj's group. The target of the assassination was the family members of Fatjon Murat, while the bartender of the bar, Mimoza Paja, was accidentally killed.

Gazmend Jakupi has narrated the details of Sherrnik's visit to his service in Germany to buy a car. In a telephone conversation with Report Tv, Jakupi says that Ervis Martinaj's man was seen by one of his workers from Syria, who noticed him stealing something, which later turned out to be license plates that were used to kill in Tirana.

"He came to buy a car at the service station and stole the license plates in our yard. We collect the license plates that are out of use in one place and then sell them for iron to be melted down and with their money we have breakfast or lunch with the workers. Nikoll Sherrniku came one day with a friend of his in 2020, I don't know where the other one was from, and I didn't have a car to sell at that time. Brenda saw the license plates in a corner where we collect them and one of my Syrian workers noticed it. I wasn't there, but later the Syrian worker who worked for me for 3 years told me that something was taken, most likely the license plate, and in fact this is how it turned out", declares Jakupi.

Sherrnik, who took the license plates to bring to Ervis Martinaj in Tirana, did not stay more than 20 minutes at Jakupi's service.

"Sherrnik has only come once, even if I see him I don't recognize him. Based on what the worker told me, he stole two or three license plates, I'm not sure about more. It stayed 15 to 20 minutes in my service room", continues Jakupi.

Gazmend Jakupi has no acquaintance with Nikoll Sherrnik, he has never met him personally.

"I don't know him, I didn't even have his phone number, many people come to my service here. The Albanian police found us on the basis of license plates, the one used in the crime was in the name of one of our workers. The system in Germany is according to the rules and we throw away such license plates after they are out of use, but almost all car repair shops in Germany use them to sell them for a morning with the workers", continues the owner of the repair shop.

Vetëm tani kur ngjarja ka ndodhur dhe prodhoi një viktimë e 6 të tjerë të plagosur, Gazmend Jakupi e kupton se sa e rrezikshme është të mbahen targat që dalin nga përdorimi, të cilat keqpërdoren nga të tjerë. I keqardhur për ngjarjen e rëndë, Jakupi thotë se tashmë është më i kujdesshëm.

“Unë po ta kisha parë vetë duke i marrë targat do ia kisha marrë nga dora, pasi tani po kuptoj se sa e rëndësishme është dhe ato qenkan keqpërdorur në Shqipëri. Më vjen shumë keq për ata që janë plagosur dhe humbur jetën në Tiranë. Prej kohës që jam informuar për rastin nga Policia e Shqipërisë jam më i kujdesshëm, targa të tilla i mbaj të fshehura”, përfundon Gazmend Jakupi.

Kush është Nikoll Sherrniku?

Nikoll Sherrniku u arrestua më 17 Gushtin e vitit të kaluar, pasi sipas Policisë, po tentonte të kryente një atentat. Ai u kap në automjetin e blindur tip “Toyota” të parkuar në afërsi të një pallati në Kune të Shëngjinit, bashkë me drejtuesen e mjetit 34-vjeçarja, Flutura Berisha dhe një i mitur 15 vjeç. Policia iu sekuestroi një automatik me fishekë në fole gati për qitje, dy krehëra me fishekë, 2 radio marrëse – dhënëse si të Policisë, si dhe automjeti i blinduar me të cilin lëviznin këta shtetas.

Brilant Martinaj, who had won his freedom before he was killed in the Fushë Kruja overpass massacre, has also been charged with the murder of the latter.

Nikoll Sherrniku is known as a member of Ervis Martinaj's group and a close friend of the latter's murdered nephew, Brilant Martinaj.
