PHOTO OF THE YEAR/ Pope Francis with the Albanian plea
Pope Francis with Albanian plis

Albanian pleats were in fashion last year and it seems they will be a trend this year as well. One of them ended up in the hands of Pope Francis. A photo of the Holy Father with a double-headed eagle was published by Prime Minister Edi Rama with the inscription "Photo of the day", while many commentators called it "Photo of the year".

It is still not known who is the author of the photo and the circumstances that the Pope fell into the hands of an Albanian plis. Pope Francis made his first official visit to Albania after taking office. The Pope has expressed sympathy for Albania on many occasions.
