Yesterday evening, the Greek media reported the tragic news of the death of the 50-year-old Albanian woman, who was dismembered while cleaning a meat grinder in a butcher's shop in Messolonghi.

The incident happened in front of her daughter.

A message of optimism and strength is the last post made by the deceased 50-year-old on social networks shortly before her tragic death.

As he wrote in Albanian: " It is difficult to wait for something that may never happen. But it's even harder to give up if that's the only thing you want ."

The police, as part of the investigation, continued to arrest the owner of the store where the 50-year-old woman died on Friday night. According to the police, he is accused of an industrial accident resulting in death due to negligence.

How the terrible accident happened

According to the police, at one point the 50-year-old woman went to clean a meat grinder and, under circumstances that are being investigated, her head first remained. Then, when the 50-year-old woman tried to free herself, her hand was also caught in the meat machine.

Immediately after, the fire department was notified to extricate the woman, while she was taken to the hospital, where the doctors declared her dead.

The body of the unfortunate woman was sent to Patra for an autopsy, while the burial is expected to take place in the following days in Evinochori.

The woman had been living in Mesolongji for two years with her mother and two children, an 18-year-old daughter and a 10-year-old son, after separating from her husband in Albania.

According to people who knew her, she worked with her daughter from morning to night and cleaned shops to make ends meet.
