The inspectors of  the State Inspectorate of Market Supervision  have reacted after verifying the equipment that caused the tragic accident that took the life of Antonio Delilaj, the 17-year-old assistant-waiter who worked at the "Orange" club, in Saranda.

Through a press release, ISHMT clarifies that: The equipment adapted for the transport of goods by the subject, which suffered a defect, is not an elevator .

The tragic event happened around 01:15 on August 26 at Spiro Iljadhi's bar.

The investigation showed that Antonio Delilaj was taking several cases of water from the basement to the bar and was inside the elevator when one of them broke from the elevator cable. The strong blow to the head caused instant death.
