Sarzana | Formally, the perpetrators of the two murders, that of the Albanian Nevila Pjetri and the tranist Carlo Bertolotti, continue to be separated, but the investigators suspect that they were killed by Bedin's hand, in a time interval of 24 hours. It seems a matter of time before investigative authorities in Italy formally charge 32-year-old Italian Daniele Bedini with double murder.
Corriere della Sera writes that another fact came to light this Saturday. At the 32-year-old's home in Carrara, transgender documents were found, along with some personal belongings of the victim. This is confirmed by investigative sources, writes the Italian media, but also Bedin's lawyer, in an interview for Rai.
Also, at 06:00 on Sunday morning, the 32-year-old was caught by another security camera. It is about the business security camera of the young man's family, located near their house.
In these images, Bedini is seen climbing on a terrace to enter the house. He is wearing a blouse and is very upset. He comes out about half an hour later with a canister holding red liquid, presumably alcohol, which he puts in the car before leaving.
The night before, an autopsy on the body of Camilla, a 43-year-old transit who was found murdered 24 hours after the Albanian prostitute, revealed that he had been killed with two small-caliber pistol bullets in the left part of the head. Nevila, according to footage available to Italian investigators, was forced by the killer to kneel and executed with three pistol bullets to the head.
Bedini is suspected of driving the 35-year-old Albanian woman in the area where she practiced prostitution, to take her later, around 00:40, near the river where she was found dead. At 1:15 a.m., there were two North Africans who called the carabinieri to signal a person was pulling a corpse. They also told police they had heard him say, "He deserves it."
Bedini is currently in La Spezia prison and has so far denied any charges.
He should have been in jail for 6 months for a 3-year prison sentence handed down last December for robbery with serious consequences. However the execution order came only after his arrest for murder. The court of Massa has launched an internal investigation, while the Italian Minister of Justice has reacted to the case.
