A serious accident occurred in the early hours of Tuesday morning on the Fier-Vlora road axis, where a 6-year-old child lost his life.

Sources say that the driver of the vehicle, Andi Mithi, 33 years old, who was traveling with his family after returning from Turkey, lost control of the car.

As a result, the vehicle collided with the traffic divider and turned upside down.

Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle, his wife, Albana Mithi, and the other 3-year-old child were injured. They were taken to the hospital for medical assistance.

On 30.08.2022, around 04:45, on the Fier-Vlorë road axis, near the village of Panaja, citizen A. M, 33 years old, who was traveling together with his wife and 2 children, driving a "Benz" type vehicle ", allegedly lost control of the vehicle and went off the road. As a result of the accident, one of the passengers, a 6-year-old child, died, while the driver and the other 2 passengers, the citizen AM, 34 years old, and the other 3-year-old child, are in the hospital of Vlora, under the care of doctors.

The investigation group is at the scene, which is carrying out further actions regarding the clarification of the circumstances of the accident.
