The 28-year-old Arben Muça, missing for 9 months, was found. This Tuesday afternoon, Majlinda Zeneli, the 28-year-old's mother, learned that her son is behind bars, after being arrested by the Serbian authorities.
The young man from Saranda lost his tracks on March 25 of this year, while he was traveling by land from Albania to Germany. The program "Pa Gjurme" revealed that Arbeni was stopped by the police at the border, after the conflict with a Serbian official. He is currently serving a three-year sentence in "Sremska Mitrovica" prison.

Odeta Dume: We immediately, as soon as you reported the loss of your son, contacted the Albanian Embassy in Belgrade with the suspicion that he may have been detained by the police there. So, we received an official response from our Embassy in Belgrade, so I want to I tell you that we have found your son and he is in a prison in Serbia.
Majlinda Zeneli: (Crying) Thank you very much, thank God nothing bad happened. I suspected that he might have ended up in prison, I had faith that you would give me news about the boy. Please how can I contact my son?
This news is officially confirmed by the Albanian Embassy in Serbia, which did not hesitate to provide details on the case, through a direct connection from Belgrade with the Albanian consul Idlir Kaba. He explained live to the mother how he can contact his son.
"In the case of Mr. Muça, we have taken action immediately. He is currently serving a sentence of three years of imprisonment, in the institution serving the sentence in 'Sremska Mitrovica', Serbia. The Serbian authorities first notified the Embassy on 06.04 .2022, for Mr. Muça's arrest and detention for 30 days (March 30-April 29, 2022), by court order, on the suspicion of the criminal offense of hitting an official. We have not received the final decision of Mr. Muça notification from the Serbian authorities even after our interest, since Mr. Muça has expressed his desire not to have contact with the Embassy. Ms. Zeneli, in order to respect Mr. Muça's wish not to have contact with the Embassy, can be connected to the prison in 'Sremska Mitrovica', we will make available a phone number."
