The rain flooded the Albanians, but Balluku "threatens" them again:
Belinda Balluku

The Deputy Prime Minister and at the same time the Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, Belinda Balluku, has confirmed that even for the month of December, the energy band of 800 kWh will not be applied.

Through a video message, Balluku said that in November the Fierza basin was at the level of 267 meters, while for the month of December, 280 meters have been reached in the Fierza basin so far. For about a month, the government says they have accumulated 340 gigawatt hours of electricity. For the month of October, the reserve was 448 giga watt hours, while in the month of November it was 788 giga watt hours.

Balluku also gave the weather forecast where he said that from December 17 the weather is expected to improve, as no rain is expected, which will make the situation more critical according to her.

But, despite the heavy rains, which have had a great impact on the flows in the cascades of the hydropower plants, Balluku warned the citizens that they should save, otherwise the price increase will be applied for the band above 800 kWh.

"After a call we made in September due to the difficult situation and high import prices, the citizens responded to this call to consume less energy. We have appreciated your feedback and although a band-aid was put in place by ERE which could be put in place when we had difficulties, it has never been put in place and has not been used to date. The work has paid off. However, it must be said that the saving in the months of September and October was considerable and gave us a hand to overcome such a situation. I want to ask once again for your commitment, of every citizen, family, small business, to continue to save because it will be the only way not to apply the 800 kWh bandage", said Balluku .

The minister was not satisfied with saving 2% of electricity, but asked that saving should be a priority for every household and business in order to save 5% of electricity at the national level.
