A stabbing occurred in the coastal city of Saranda, following a street fight between two young men with previous criminal records for drugs, assault, theft, weapons possession, and more.

The injured party is 26-year-old Enkel Dano , while the suspected perpetrator of the crime, EA, 37, fled the scene and was declared wanted.

Saranda police confirmed that they have declared Edmond Abazi, known by the nickname "Monçja", wanted .

Abazi is accused of stabbing 26-year-old Enkel Dano two days ago, at a place called " Plazhi i ri " .

The latter received a knife wound to the back and is out of danger after receiving treatment.

Edmond Abazi , known by the nickname " Monçja ", is a person with criminal records for " intentional serious injury", "unlicensed possession of a weapon", "theft", "destruction of property", "improper driving", "domestic violence", "assault due to duty", "evasion from the place of serving a sentence ".

Meanwhile, Enkel Dano turns out to be a person with a criminal record for " production and sale of narcotics ."

Local police reported that the fight occurred for weak motives, but did not provide details about the dynamics and concrete causes.

Police announcement:

The materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office and citizen EA, 37 years old, resident of Saranda, was declared wanted, as he is suspected of stabbing citizen ED, 26 years old, resident of Saranda, for weak motives.

It is also clarified that "the 26-year-old received treatment and is out of danger to his life."

Work is underway to capture the 37-year-old and to clarify the circumstances of the case.

The procedural materials were referred to the competent prosecutor's offices for further action.
