A 16-year-old boy risked drowning in the area known as "Vaska e Marinës" in Shëngjin, but was saved thanks to the rapid intervention of the services of the Durrës Local Directorate for Border and Migration.

According to official information, the minor had slipped from the stones of the staircase and, due to health problems, had difficulty swimming, putting his life in serious danger.

Immediately after receiving the notification, police services departed by boat to the scene.

After locating the 16-year-old, officers provided first aid and then transported him to shore by boat. The young man was sent for specialized medical assistance to the Lezha regional hospital, where he is in good health.
