Journalist Esmeralda Keta was also a witness to the tragedy on the beach of Potami in Himare, where a 7-year-old girl died after being hit by a boat.
In a post on social networks, she narrated the shocking event in detail. She describes the toddler who lost her life as a beautiful girl with golden curls who was slaughtered by the speedboat.
Keta also writes that because of the panic, no one had the courage to take out the victim's body except a Dutchman who worked at the ambulance had the courage to collect the little girl's body.
The journalist further states that the victim's family, originally from Tropoja, lived in Canada and had arrived at the beach yesterday afternoon, August 1.
Shocked by the serious event, Esmeralda Keta also discovers the words of the mother of the 5-year-old girl and how she, in the midst of pain, has become the guardian of the crime scene to preserve the evidence of the crime that took her little one from her hands.

Just a few meters away from my children who were bathing in the sea, a beautiful 5-year-old girl, with golden curls, was massacred by a boat... To understand how dramatic the event was, it is enough to say that none of the dozens of vacationers dared to enter the sea and take out the body of the unfortunate little girl, only a Dutchman who worked in the ambulance had the courage to collect the body of the little girl....
The family originally from Tropoja but living in Canada, only yesterday afternoon had arrived in Potam to spend the holidays that turned into a tragedy.
Who is to blame?
In the place where the incident took place there was a safety cord for navigational vehicles, but we all need to know if these cords are licensed? If so, are they in accordance with the law? Which means that they are sealed, that the cord is loose and that umbrellas are not placed in the place that corresponds to the cord, that there are people who help and guide the vehicles that go ashore, but also that they do not allow vacationers to bathe inside it .. n
If they do not meet these conditions at that time, those who are responsible for monitoring must be held accountable.
Seeing how many such cordons there are along the coastline, the craze for every bar to have access to the sea must end...
I will have a hard time getting the face of the baby's mother out of my mind, as a long line of vacationers went to comfort her. The only thing they could do was give us a hug and she told me, when she saw my children: "Enjoy each other. Don't let your worries drown you. I lost my little one forever." Drowning in tears and amidst that pain, that woman had the strength to say a kind word to us, while we could not protect her little one. Even after 4 hours from the event, she continues to stay at the crime scene, for fear of manipulating the event...
