The civic protest in Tirana marked its 62nd consecutive day this Friday. With the main calls for the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama and for a deep reform of the political system in the country, dozens of citizens and activists gathered for the rally.

One of the protesters stated that the goal of the protest is to overthrow the system seized by Rama and Berisha as it is one of the most corrupt systems.

He said that the Territorial Reform is driving depopulation.

"We are united here by a very great goal to remove this corrupt system that has taken the country hostage, we are together for our country because we are the masters of this land. We are here because we want a new Constitution.

Territorial reform is continuing depopulation, they don't know the troubles and problems that people have.

For 62 days now, the expression "the end has come" has taken on meaning because we want freedom and our rights, we want to put an end to this system that has taken people hostage, we want to put an end to the system that does not care about the people, the corrupt and plundering system. This protest has become a sensation even for tourists.

We must be together until we reach our goal because that day is approaching, to get what we have always wanted, to be free.

"Rama accuses us of being ravens and crows, but he himself is the biggest robber. This protest is sacred to us, we will not retreat until the most corrupt regime is overthrown ," he said.

Protest participants have announced that the rallies will continue in the coming weeks, until the demands made are met.

The main demand remains the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama and a change in the way the political class functions. After the speeches of citizens in front of the Prime Minister's Office, there is also a march of protesters expected in the streets of Tirana.
