Former Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku appeared this Friday at SPAK premises, where she was reportedly informed of the extension of the investigations by three months, as well as new charges for three lots of the Grand Ring Road.
Balluku only stayed 20 minutes at the Special Prosecution Office, while on her way out, she was accompanied by her lawyer Ardian Kalia.
The former number two in the government, as well as her lawyer, have not spoken to the media, despite the interest of journalists.
During the morning, citizens and activists gathered in front of SPAK, shouting slogans against Belinda Balluku.
We recall that a day ago, the head of SPAK, Klodian Braho, told reporters that the case of Belinda Balluku is a priority and that the investigations against her continue.
Balluku is under investigation for corruption and money laundering, related to two tenders worth over 1 million euros at the time when Balluku was the General Director of "Albcontrol".
