The students of the University of Medicine in Tirana rose again in protest today to oppose the government's proposal for their employment after completing their studies.

It is learned that dozens of students have gathered in front of the Faculty of Medicine, demanding that the Ministry of Health and the rectorate give up the idea.

The Ministry of Health and the government have recently proposed a plan for compulsory employment for recent medical graduates for a period of 3 years, or payment of a fee of 5,000 euros per academic year.

The proposal has come as an attempt by the government and the ministry to prevent the mass departure of doctors from the country, but the students have categorically opposed this plan.
