At noon yesterday, it was reported that a skull had been found dumped near one of the city's cemeteries. The skull was found near the Burdullias cemetery and was inside a plastic bag. But today other shocking details about this event have come out.
The Burdulliasi cemetery employee, Tomorr Nure, who found and opened the bag, confirms that inside the bag was not only the skull, but also other parts of the bones.
Nure stated that the bag also contained several parts of ribs and limbs and that socks were worn on the leg bones.
The employee Tomorr Nure claimed that it was around 11:00 - 11:15 minutes when he was cleaning and found a plastic bag covered with leaves.
He confirms that he immediately notified the person in charge and the police, who came and took the remains. Nure, also explaining the method of exhuming the bones, confirms that the bones do not belong to the Burdulliasi cemetery and that they were not exhumed from any grave of this cemetery.
The skull and body bones have been transported to the Institute of Forensic Medicine in Tirana, when DNA analysis will determine her identity.
From the preliminary observation, it is suspected that the bones were exposed to flames, but the fate of other remains is not yet known, bw writes.
The police are working through security cameras of houses and businesses around the cemetery and at the exit of the national road, to discover the identity of the citizen who threw this bag inside near the cemetery.
Similarly, inside the cemetery, there seem to be cameras installed, but it is not confirmed if these cameras work or even if they work and have a sufficient range to see the surface where the bag was thrown.
