New details continue to emerge from the investigations conducted into the suicide of 17-year-old Irsa Muçollari in Gjirokastra on February 10, while the Prosecution has dismissed the possibility of bullying as the main cause of the suicide.
Sources for BalkanWeb have informed that the Gjirokastra Prosecution has dismissed the bullying case and denied that the young woman left behind a farewell letter. According to the prosecution, the letter found in Irsa Muçollari's belongings belongs to an English assignment that the young woman wrote when she was part of the 9-year school system.
So far, over 30 people, family members, relatives, psychologists and students from the "Siri Shapllo" school where Irsa continued to study, are involved in the investigation process. The investigation has also uncovered several fragments from the 17-year-old's class, where it is reported that the young woman always kept her phone in front of her desk.
According to reports, the teacher had asked her several times to put down her phone, but was faced with objections from the 17-year-old, details that contradict Irsa Muçollari's calm nature, as described by her family.
Investigators are awaiting the dismantling of the 17-year-old's cell phone to shed more light on the real reasons that led the teenager to commit suicide.
