The Supreme Court has rejected the appeal of former President Ilir Meta , who had requested his release from prison, where he has been since October 21, 2024.

The Black Platoons have left in force the security measure " prison arrest " granted by the Appeals Court of Kosovo on November 19, 2024.

Regarding your interest in the criminal case no. 60003-00073-00-2025, the Criminal Panel of the Supreme Court has decided: Upholding decision no. 59 (87-2024-333) dated 19.11.2024 of the Special Court of Appeal for Corruption and Organized Crime.
