Daily Mail: Trump, the object of ridicule! Macron bursts into laughter as the
Meeting of the European Political Community in Copenhagen

French President Emmanuel Macron has been seen laughing, while the leaders of Albania and Azerbaijan mock US President Donald Trump for declaring that he has ended wars involving their countries.

At the European Political Community meeting in Copenhagen, Macron was seen chatting with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev. Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama is seen approaching him and telling Macron: "You should apologize to us... because you didn't congratulate us on the peace agreement that President Trump made between Albania and Azerbaijan."

The comment referred to Trump's repeated confusion about Armenia and Albania when discussing the long-standing hostility between Armenia and Azerbaijan.

In an interview with Fox News last month, Trump claimed: "I solved wars that were unsolvable. Azerbaijan and Albania, which had been going on for many, many years, the prime minister and the president were in my office."

And during a press conference with UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer, he again confused the name of the South Caucasus country by saying: "We solved the issues of Azerbaijan and Albania."

Rama's joke made both Aliyev and Macron laugh. The French leader joked: 'I'm sorry about that!'

The Albanian leader added: '(Trump) worked hard!'

Trump brokered a deal between Azerbaijan and Armenia in August, with Aliyev and Nikol Pashinyan, Armenia's prime minister, agreeing to end decades of fighting and expand ties with Washington.

However, his claim that he ended seven wars through his mediation is false.

Trump claimed to have ended the war between Serbia and Kosovo, and Egypt and Ethiopia.

Although there are long-standing tensions between these nations, they have not gone to full-scale war recently.

India also rejected the White House's claim that Trump helped ease tensions with Pakistan.

On the other hand, a Hamas official has said that the terrorist group needs more time to study the US president's 20-point plan for peace in Gaza.

Trump on Tuesday gave Hamas an ultimatum of 'three or four days' to accept his plan to end the nearly two-year war in the Palestinian territory.

The plan calls for a ceasefire, the release of hostages within 72 hours, the disarmament of Hamas and a gradual Israeli withdrawal from Gaza. This would be followed by a post-war transitional authority headed by Trump himself.
