A gunfight took place today, October 16, in Antwerp, Belgium, where three Albanians were reportedly injured.

The injured Albanians together with another person have been arrested, the media in Belgium report.

Two of the injured are in a serious state of health, while it is suspected that the incident may be related to drug deals.

The area where the event took place is known mainly for the presence of Eastern Europeans, mainly Albanians and Bulgarians. A few years ago, an Albanian drug gang was caught on Jesus Street, supplying the city center with cocaine from an apartment there.

Wouter Bruyns, spokesman for the local police, confirms: "Four suspects have been arrested. Three of them are injured, two of whom are in danger for their lives."

It is not yet known who fired the firearm and it is part of the investigation.
